Boosting Publix Deli Sales with a Social Media Campaign
The Challenge
Publix wanted to increase sales of their famously delicious sandwiches. The challenge was to leverage digital media to drive customers into their stores, transforming online engagement into real-world purchases.
My Role
I led the digital marketing strategy for this project, with a focus on creating engaging campaigns that would drive a direct impact on sales. I was responsible for both the creative direction and the technical execution of the campaign.
The Solution
I developed a social-first digital strategy that focused on visually appealing content and user-generated engagement. The campaign highlighted the unique appeal of Publix sandwiches through mouth-watering images and videos. I used advanced targeting, including tactical day-parting & inclusion on navigation apps, to reach audiences who were interested in food and dining, and I leveraged geo-targeting to drive foot traffic to specific store locations.
The Results
The campaign successfully drove customer engagement and, more importantly, a measurable increase in deli sales. By using a data-driven approach, we were able to prove the direct impact of our digital marketing efforts on in-store purchases.
