Wedderspoon: Building a DTC Brand from the Ground Up
The Challenge
Wedderspoon, a DTC brand specializing in Manuka honey, wanted to increase its direct-to-consumer sales and market share. The challenge was to build a robust digital marketing strategy that would attract and convert new customers while also retaining existing ones.
My Role
I was the lead digital marketing strategist for Wedderspoon. I was responsible for building a comprehensive, full-funnel strategy that would drive growth and a strong return on ad spend.
The Solution
I created a multi-channel digital marketing plan that focused on building brand awareness and driving conversions. The strategy included a combination of search, social, and display campaigns. I also implemented email marketing automation and a content strategy that educated customers on the benefits of Manuka honey. I continuously optimized our campaigns based on performance data and a deep understanding of our customer journey.
The Results
The campaign was a tremendous success, leading to a significant increase in DTC sales and a strong return on ad spend. We successfully built a loyal customer base and solidified Wedderspoon's position as a leader in the Manuka honey market.
